Position Overview Registered Nurse Assist with community-based events by providing global screenings and education.
Provide coverage to Shenango Valley sites as needed.
This person assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals.
This individual functions in all areas of the office setting this includes both clinical and front desk duties.
Location and Hours of Position PHN Sharon Medical Group.
The general office hours for this position are 8:
00am - 5:
00pm with some evening hours required.
The position is located in Sharon, PA.
Education/Experience Requirements Graduate of an approved school of nursing Current unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license Current CPR Healthcare Certification Ability to demonstrate competency in nursing skills, assessment and decision making Knowledge, skill and ability to provide routine immunizations based on CDC and CDPH recommendations.
Knowledge, skill and ability to monitor vaccine storage and handling guidelines.
Ability to demonstrate self-discipline and work independently Ability to work over a wide range of areas in a diverse community Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Excellent customer service skills.
Creative and analytical thinking Ability to work under pressure calmly and efficiently, coping with variable workloads, intermittent delays and emotionally charged situations.
