In joining our team of healthcare professionals at Embassy, you will be expected to perform in a fast-paced environment and provide personalized care.
The LPN/RN Charge Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care services to the residents of Embassy.
He/she will administer and record medication and treatments, instruct nursing assistants on proper resident care, and coordinate care with other medical professionals for residents as necessary.
Additional responsibilities include:
Ensuring resident medical needs are being addressed Providing physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities Ensuring the patient receives appropriate nutritional needs based on care plans Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention Documenting or otherwise reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses Certification as an LPN or RN is a requirement for this opportunity.
You must also be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
