Maintenance Mechanic II

Ellwood Crankshaft Group is the world's leading manufacturer of large, one-of-a-kind, multiple-throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines, mechanical shears, rock crushers, homogenizers and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.
Today, ECG has eight facilities in four different states. We are seeking a full-time person for a Maintenance Mechanic for our facility in Sharon, PA. This is an hourly position and will report directly to the Director of Maintenance. This position will require overtime, weekends, rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities. Pay range for this position will be $20 to $24 per hour depending on candidate's experience level.
Two years related experience
Strong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practices
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Basic knowledge in AC and DC motor drive controls
Experience with PLC controls
Familiar with manufacturing processes and machining equipment
Machine tool experience including major upgrades, revisions and installations both mechanically and with control systemsRESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Performing adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment
Installing and upgrading new and current equipment to adhere to LEAN Principles
Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basis
Assisting with other duties, assignments and projects as required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
